Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne se produit notamment pour le traitement de certaines solutions \u00e0 particules fines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En effet, lors de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape, le mat\u00e9riau filtrant ne peut retenir que les particules dont la taille est sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 son ouverture ; les particules plus petites passeront donc \u00e0 travers et le filtrat sera impur, devant \u00eatre renvoy\u00e9 au circuit d&#8217;alimentation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mais lorsque de plus en plus de particules s&#8217;accumulent, une couche de g\u00e2teau se forme entre la solution introduite et le tissu filtrant, facilitant ainsi la filtration. Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne est appel\u00e9 filtration en pont ou filtration sur g\u00e2teau.
